Lauren has been working in food & beverage for 15 years and is lucky enough to have called both front and back of house home. Having worked her way through the gamut of restaurant positions in Ottawa, Montreal, and Halifax, she received formal training as a chef in Montreal before returning to Ottawa to launch Red Door Provisions in 2012. She is motivated by food in all its incarnations, from field to jar, and strives to save our seasons one micro batch at a time. She is picky about coffee, and dislikes people with bad manners.
Greg is a trained heritage woodworker with an obsessive interest in coffee. Having spent many years managing cafés throughout the Maritimes (and restoring old churches along the way), Greg offers a wealth of coffee knowledge with a keen attention to detail. Have questions about espresso? Not sure which bean to buy? Having trouble discerning the raspberry tasting notes in your coffee? Ask Greg. He is picky about coffee, and okay with bad manners.
